The Ogwashi-uku Community that hosted the first Anioma One Million man crusade is set to embark on a Lawn Tennis and Library project to help the youths actualize their dreams in academics and sports. According to the initiator, Dr Celestine Iwendi, a Swedish based Community Developer and Initiator of the One million man crusade, “After the One million man crusade with our Papa Rev Dr Uma Ukpai, things have started to happen in our land. God has used The D-Forum to restore light to the town. It will also interest us that a son of the soil, Chief Nwaukoni, Known as ’Sup’ also gave the town 20 Million naira in support of the project.

It is a thing of joy to know that a US based NGO and Haz Iwendi Foundation have already promised to flood the place with e-books. This project will be monitored by Ogwashi-uku change makers forum in partnership with the Aniocha South Local Govt Area and other groups. The Local Govt Chairman, Hon Isaac Anwuzia has already provided a place where the Lawn Tennis courts and Table tennis will be situated. We call on everyone to participate and bless this project because it is the offshoot of the crusade.
