“Dr. Cel Iwendi has described this article as one of his more inspired, and after reading through, it becomes very clear very quickly exactly what he meant. It also becomes very clear just how relevant the article is for people looking to finally start their lives as entrepreneurs, or even for entrepreneurs who may be facing challenges at the moment or business people who are letting doubt creep into their minds.
But we invite you to judge for yourselves. In the 1st of this 2-part series, the author speaks to the minds of all adults looking to make their way in life and make that life one of purpose and fulfilment.

I have come to understand that sometimes tragedies can alter the course of events, slow your breakthrough process or even damage your ship of evidence. But they cannot and certainly should not stop you from reaching your desired destination.
If you know what you are made of, the treasure inside you, the pressures of life will not intimidate you again. Therefore, it is time to shatter barriers that are preventing you in achieving your destiny in a unique, inspirational, and supernatural way.
Hear this – one of the reasons many are stunted in destiny is that they have not found their vision. They can’t see from point A to point B in their lives, yet point B is where their destiny lies. Permit me to highlight why our leaders will first want the approval of other foreign governments before settling down to work. Why the black race is second class (at best), the reason why we employ foreigners who are technicians in place of our engineers. We are blessed with innumerable treasures but somehow, we feel the treasure lies in the trash.
We have graduated into the ministry of jealousy, filled with bitterness and bad-mouthing our neighbour because we lack evidence. Yet, it is only a foolish person that follows another without evidence. Therefore, if you feel stuck right now in the search for your destiny, it may mean you are not stepping away from some progress killers, which are preventing your treasures from shining out from the trash.
So we shall identify vision blockers, throne killers and progress killers, and show you how you can step out from their collective grip. Men may have called you trash, but today you will discover the “treasure in the trash”.
Number One – Responsibility Dodgers: People with sluggish minds tend to avoid responsibility by blaming other people. You must be responsible for your actions and speech. Too many people have the habit of blaming their circumstances or mistakes on bad fate or bad luck. Too few will admit that their situations are direct outcomes of the choices they’ve made. In life, this is the foundation you need to correct in order to grow. You must accept your current situation, take responsibility for it, learn from it, make the necessary changes, and move forward.
Number Two – Pregnant with Fear: Over time, you might feel overwhelmed and trapped by boredom and especially fear. If you are trying to do big things and are pushing for your dreams, you are bound to encounter situations that scare you and make you feel uncomfortable. We must doubt our doubts and move forward with passion. Marianne Williamson wrote “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of destiny. Playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory within us. It’s not just in some of us; it is in all of us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others”. The extent to which we sometimes allow fear to rule our lives is truly startling and of course, unnecessary, especially when you consider one very important fact about fear: it is basically hallucination, a creation of your imagination. The fear of failure is the one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve. Therefore, don’t abandon your dream because it is in the trash or has been called trash; abandon your fear, grab your treasure.
Number Three – Absence Without Leave (AWOL) on Your Calling: A calling is your treasure. It is peculiar to every individual and contains your personal invitation to get to the top of life. When you continue to ignore your calling, you lose the purpose of your existence. You become tasteless salt. Friends, what you seek, whether you realize it or not, is the actual feeling of being ALIVE, of LIVING your life your own way. You don’t have to satisfy everyone. You just have to find something to believe in – something that anchors you and keeps you looking forward, regardless of what others are doing or saying. You may be surprised to learn that your job is not your calling. Your job is the platform that helps you carry out your calling. Sometimes, your job may be closely wrapped up in your calling or it may not. Sometimes all your job does is put food on the table, which gives you the freedom to go about your calling in a separate area. We often use our jobs or careers to measure our success. If we make a lot of money, we consider ourselves successful. But your treasure is more than money. Your treasure may just be crying out from the trash. It is time to go and get it.
Hear ye, it is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else’s life with perfection.
